performance yesterday was *oh my goodness*. panicked like mad please. first time playing clarinet "solo" in front of people. somemore after not playing for 1.5 years. tone sucks ): grr. practice practice practice.

and im damn tired today luhh. longgggg day. breakfast in the morning with clare, BuMs, midi, music theory. then studied music theory after that. oh wells, "studied". haha. first test for year2. i just pray i dont screw up in the test tomorrow. so today ended at 9pm. argh. so tired that i dont have mood for anything else. and today's weather freak cold please. yesterday like oven, today like fridge. kao eh. damn pissed. hahaha.

gosh, im freaking tired today. havent been waking up before the sun fully rises for a damn long time(considering thats 7am) so im not quite used to it. then went swimming in the evening, which made me even more tired now, physically and mentally.

assignments, projects and all are piling up already on the first week of school. thats midi, music theory, performance, remt, and to a certain extent, gems. lots of them can wait, okay actually not really, except performance thats next week. quite excited though :D pretty interesting seeing everyone perform! haha. but i havent chose a piece to play, and quite scared :O grr. first time performing solo on a clarinet! whee :D hope it goes well. hahah

argh im damn tired everyday after reaching home, that i dont have energy and mood to do the things im supposed to do. and during breaks in school, i complain got no mood. i seriously need to do something about this. grr.

second day of lesson. i really hope i start getting more serious in year2. slacked too much in year1. but my head is seriously hurting. somehow because of my eyes. haha. and first assignment for midi is out already. due in 4 weeks. argh. hahaha. 

im seriously.. disappointed. 

mans, dinner today was SINFUL. haha. had kenny roger's quarter chicken with potato salad and macaroni with cheese. hahah. damn shiooooook. but i cant finish, bloated ttm ): haha. daddy bought a new bike for me :D hahah. although im like not gonna ride it often :/ haha.

guitar lesson today, first time chatting so much with shawn. talked about the music scene, the career to persue in music etc. felt damn dejected after what he said, which makes sense thats why im feeling dejected. the chinese market is not ready to accept other genres of music besides pop. every kind of music we're doing is a shadow of the western countries. it is hard to make it big in a local scene. if we take an original from a local band and an original from a, letsay american/english band, who's song do you think will be better? 90% of the people will say "of course american/england band la, need to say meh?" but truth is, when we dont mention which song is from which band, majority of the people actually thought the piece created by a local band is the one from america(the better one). what is this? people's perception is already fixed. its hard to change it. how to survive with music in singapore? hahah. then shawn mentions he gets very angry to see people working so hard but just dont make it big after years, but some dont even have to work and they are like superstars. which is luck actually.

then i asked him: "if you knew then why did you want to study music?" one simple answer: " no why ah, i like loh" HAHA. mannnn, this is really hard. am i learning music to perform or to teach? and the question remains a question. haha

today was great :D met up with tuition mates. actually only cs, clarice and glenn. hahah. so it was alot of catching up, and talking rubbish. (thats what you'd expect with glenn around actually :P haha) went to eat yuki yaki at marina square. the ice cream buffet is shioooook! its damn fun la. hahah. having it for the first time. and the lunch buffet is so worth it. im so going back again. haha.

after that, went to meet aunty shirley at toa payoh burger king. sat there, and talked alot to aunty shirley. about life now, and in the future. haha. im starting to think again. what does the future hold for me? hahaha. oh wells. had fun today (: miss them loads!

haha, and i went for chalet yesterday morning. went there and we pretty much stoned in the room. hahah. blah blah blah. then at night, sat at the jacuzzi pool, chilled, emo-ed, drank and talked for 3 hours i think? hahah. our legs were all rotting and wrinkled up -.- haha. i would think thats probably the most memorable part of the whole chalet. so faiz was good at organising that. we ranked each other with a score, highest being 10. gave comments, and said many true stuff from our hearts. haha. at least i think i did, and i know alot of them did. then the comment they had about me i felt is so true, is that i think too much. haha. shall not elaborate.

oh and another thing. suddenly i feel that being in a relationship will cause a person to have alot more restrictions. especially sacrificing the time with your friends, i think that sucks ): so somehow, im quite glad im not in a relationship (: hahaha.

just came back from chalet now and im quite tired. im gonna watch stcband's SYF later at SCH. gonna leave soon. ALL THE BEST STCBAND! :D
